Love in the time of COVID-19

Times of crisis creates panic due to unforeseeable developments, which leads to fear and paranoia, and eventually develops into human-made scarcity of resources. It brings out a different side of us, we never knew existed. All because of fear.

And what is fear’s virtuous twin? Hope! There is hope all around us, and that’s how we all are safe and sound.

It roots from that news reporter who showed us a perspective and directed our minds from fear to hope;

It emerges from that person-in-charge who gave us a cushion to bounce back when things are crashing down;

It comes from that person who sprang into action, and strategize a damage control action plan;

It sprouts from that person who gave up shares of their profit for the sake of safety;

It proliferates from that pacifier who reminded you that there is light at the end of the tunnel;

It extends from that person who devised a way to ensure that the show goes on;

It emits from you and me who chose to do the the right thing.

So there is hope, and there is love in the time of COVID-19. And those who have the vision and courage to act for our collective welfare, made sure that you and me are safely enveloped by this love.

Take care and know that you are loved ❤
